SPELLING BEE

Es sabido que el inglés presenta importantes dificultades en su ortografía. Con las actividades y competiciones de "spelling" que haremos en clase pretendemos motivaros  para que mejoréis dicha ortografía y desarrolléis vuestro máximo potencial en este ámbito así como animaros a que perseveréis en el aprendizaje del idioma.

A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. The concept is thought to have originated in the United States,[4] and spelling bee events, along with variants, are now also held in some other countries around the world

AFFIRMATIVE: There are two types of verbs:
a) regular : verb + ed
b) irregular verbs: pages 115-116
NEGATIVE: DIDN'T + VERB
INTERROGATIVE: DID + SUBJECT + VERB
REMEMBER: In negative and interrogative sentences the verb doesn't change, it doesn't matter if it is regular or irregular, it stays in the base form.
